4/20-4/27 EWR-POP $272 R/T on CO (taxes included)

Today I booked a trip to POP for next week.

and you know how much??? $201!!!!!!

with one week notice, 201+taxes, that is the best i have ever seen. how could I not go???

apparently not a mistake, but a promotion (i suppose in response to the jetblue one that just ended). r/t flights on tuesdays starting 4/14 & tuesdays & wednesdays from 4/28 on are all $272 through june 9th.

just went through the booking process right up to the payment window - total charge of $271.80 ($138 for r/t flight + $133.80 in taxes & fees).

so yeah, it's legit. it's not an uncommon mistake, but they usually correct them within a few hours and this price was only posted about an hour ago.

They always list low teaser flights, but when you go to make the reservation, the price mysteriously triples...

Just in case anyone might have that week free and was looking to head down to Puerto Plata - it's almost definitely a mistake on continental's part as the flight is usually around $400 at lowest, but it looks like they entered the one-way price for this flight as the R/T price so it's something to be taken advantage of until they realize their error and bump the price up.

If i didn't absolutely have to work that week I'd have booked this one already
