i went for a full body swedish massage today, i took everything off and put a small towel across to cover myself... everything was fine and relaxing, but i noticed the male therapist moved the towel a few times during the session, and so my butt and penis was partially exposed from time to time... have you guys had similar experience? is this common or normal? also i had a semi hard on in the middle of the session, so i thought it was a bit embarrassing..... thanks guys

Yes, this is very common. I have swedish massages on a regular basis because they are beneficial for you, and I use the same therapists, who happen to be two men. Moving the towel is something they have to do during the massage, its just a part of the routine, nothing sexual. You don't have to take off your underwear when you go, I always leave mine on. And trust me, massage therapists have seen a lot. They are not too worried about seeing a butt or a penis, or even someone who gets an erection. That's part of the treatment, so they can access those muscles (in your butt) which carry a lot, but seldom get worked on to relax them. As the inner thigh area is very sensitive, it can easily trigger an erection, or semi-. That's perfectly okay; therapists see this all the time.

I've had many massages, including lomi lomi...I have a physical pain disorder and sleep apnea. I think I've been briefly exposed or bumped in my genital area several times, but not usually. I've had erections during massage, but I just ignore it and try to zone out. I just assume massage therapists have seen everything so the best thing for me to do is surrender, zone out, and enjoy the massage, whether than worry for the 1 in 20 times I might be accidentally exposed.
