Im after a little help/advice please!
I do a lot of weight training, and for the past 18 months have had a little problem with my left leg dominating when i perform a squat exercise.
I have seen a physio a couple of times who uses a form of acupuncture directly into the muscle and he said my pelvis is out of line thus in effect giving me one leg ever so slightly shorter than the other.
The left seems to be shorter and hence why it often feels like the left leg is doing all the work - and hence, also has slightly more muscle mass.
Now the treatments i have had previously have involved the physio sticking pins into my lower back muscles so that they clench onto the pin and slowly relax. This is also done just above my glute to the right side and some in my left calf also as this seems to also be developing more.
Anyway, long story short, its not really worked and im still getting the dominant leg thing while lifting.
A good friend of mine swears by traditional chinese acupuncture and i wondered if i should perhaps be looking down this route?
any advice is appreciated!
