For the past 5 months, my shoulder has been experiencing some pain and discomfort, mainly when i rotate my arm behind my back. I got it checked out and it could be any combination of any of these things: a partial labral tear, some messed up cartailige, or some kind of rotator cuff problem. If it helps, it happened most likely during a football game. I am a lineman and often times, lineman must extend their arms and block people that are almost by them, thus pulling and extending the arm back behind the back. I know that reflexology can help pain discomfort and increase blood flow to certain parts of the body, but could it do the same for a labral tear or torn cartailige? I am really hoping it can so i can avoid the costs of an MRI and maybe even surgery...
