I'm trying to make a brochure that includes all things a company might want to know about chair massage...such as benefits, massage facts and etc... The only benefits I can come up with are decreased employee absenteeism & increased employee morale... please help me think of more!!I am very appreciative of all suggestions...thank you so much in advance for all the help I receive!!!Renee

My main concern with chair massage deals with helping prevent repetitive stress injuries in the workplace. With carpal tunnel and arthritis on the rise, simple arm/wrist/hand massage can help prevent people from developing RSI's, which would help lower the company's worker's compensation rates.

It couldn't hurt to talk about workplace ergonomics too. I always include a small chart that indicates how and where a person's appendages should be located in relation to their desk while sitting in their chair. The chart also indicates how their computer should be set up on their desk. Too often, folks in the computer industry don't realize the wear and tear sitting at an uncomfortable workstation will do to their posture, joints, and muscles over time. If they don't correct these things, chair massage (or any type of massage) will virtually be useless to them. Be well,Jen
