Girlfriendly Hotels in Shanghai

Different to other cities in China, there is not really a need for a girlfriendly hotel list here in Shanghai. The official rule is same than other cities here in China:
no one is allowed to stay in the hotel later than 10pm if, she (or he) is not registered as a guest.
But in Shanghai most time no one care about that. Only for some days around the years there will be some official goverment delegations in Shanghai and some hotels will care a little bit more that days.
Our tips:
Most 5 star hotels will require a room card, if you want to use the elevator, so if you like incall, you have to go downstairs to pick up the girl, so better book a good 4 star hotel, where the girl can go up to your room directly.
If you are in a hotel which require a room card for the elevator, than check out, if you can find a place where you can easily meet the girl, for example the restaurant level or the bar level.
Some 4 star hotels have luxury suites for a reasonable price, so for your girls fun it can be much better to book a suite in a 4 star hotel than a room in a 5 star hotel.
Most interesting area for fun is Jing An Area, so if you have the chance, try to find a hotel there (for example Manhattan, Judy`s and a lot of girlsbars are around here)
Girlfriendly Hotels in Shanghai - our recommendations
Shanghai JC Mandarin Hotel
A good place for fun is the JC Mandarin Hotel in the Nan Jing Xi Road in the center of the Jing An Area. It is a chinese 5 star hotel with reasonable rate. But the best is the location. Less than 3 minutes walking from Manhattan or Judy`s and also just opposite site of some of the hottest girls bars. They also have a KTV in the basement, and you can bring the girls easy up to your room.

Rate: around 1200 RMB per night
Shanghai Hilton Hotel (Jing An)
The Hilton Hotel in Shanghai Jing An (there is another one a little bit outside in Hongqiao, so make sure you book the right one) is opposite side of a good girlsbar street, also some massage parlors around and you can walk in around 10 Minutes to Manhattan or Judy`s.


Rate: around 1900 RMB per night
Rayfond Hotel Appartment Shanghai
If you want to have fun, but not willing to spend so much, we found a great solution (thanks to our guide Andi). There is a 4 star Hotel called "Rayfont". The rooms are not the best choice (around RMB 260), but they have some great "Delux suites" with a nearly 5 star bedroom. And the hotel elevator need no room card, so easy for the girl come to your room directly. This place is arouns 10 minutes from the Hotspots in Jing An.


Rate: around 360 RMB per night for the Delux Suite
The Portman Ritz-Carlton
The Portman is just opposite side of the JC Mandarin, around 3 minutes walking distance from most hotspots in Jing An area and you will not have a problem to bring a girl there. It is a high exclusive Hotel with very good rooms, but also not so cheap.
