Question Hobbying in the US?

Heading to the US for work next week - Tampa specifically. A bit worried about the hobbyist scene down there. One, seems like cops raid places much more frequently. Also seems like the talent level isn’t great and very hard to find solid reviews.

I've had bad luck hobbying in other countries especially where the exchange rate is not in your favor. Might be better to save up and hit a few places back here when you get home
