looking for info on thermal palms

Hi,

Has anyone used thermal palms, and if so how did you like them? I have been interested in them for awhile and I don't personally know anyone who has them. Thanks for any input!

I have them. They are a great alternative to hot stones, holding their heat well if you put them back in the insulated bag while you aren't using them. All you need is a microwave and some oatmeal and water added to the kit.

The table version uses oil and as I generally do more MFR, I don't get into oil as much. The clients that I have used them on really liked the session.

You can also use them dry over clothing, such as in chair massage.

The kit is not overly cheap, but some of the items can be replaced quite reasonably - e.g. coffee filters and the specialty elastic bands.

alternative materials?

I am interested in the thermal palms as well. I want to try to make them my self to try them before I invest in them. What kind of materials could I use as alternative to the products. I have a Joanns and Micheals near by. Any advice would greatly be appeciated.

I am also seeking an alternative to them. It would seek that an oven / baking plastic would be able to be used as the plastic wrap for the oat forms. Then wrap them in cotton should be able to replicate the same effects. Any other suggestions?
