A Tamarac woman was arrested for solicitation of prostitution when she offered to perform a sexual service for an undercover detective at a massage parlor.
Xiufeng Liu
Detectives with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau conducted an undercover operation into A1 Massage, located at 1316 S. Bay St., Eustis, around 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the LCSO. They received a complaint that sexual acts were being performed in the business.
A detective, working undercover, went into A1 massage and asked 52-year-old Xiufeng Liu for a massage. She told him it was $80 for a one-hour massage, so he paid before following her into a room where she began performing the massage, the report said.
About 30 minutes into the massage, the detective was instructed to roll over, and a towel was placed on his upper thigh. Liu moved from massaging his upper chest to his upper thighs where her hands brushed his genitals before continuing the massage. She did it again while making eye contact with him about five minutes later, the report said.
The detective returned eye contact while raising both of his eyebrows. Liu proceeded to the corner of the room and applied more massage oil to her hands. She then came back to the detective, grabbed his penis with her open hand and began to masturbate him, the report said.
The detective said, “Oh,” and Liu stopped. She raised her hand in the air to simulate masturbation, to which he asked how much. She held up six fingers and then used her finger to write 60 on the wall when asked what she meant. He declined, saying it was too much, and she said sorry before carrying on with the normal massage, the report said.
Once the massage was done, the detective got dressed and left the building. He notified other members of law enforcement about what happened, and they went into the building to contact Liu. They tried talking to her about the incident, but she was not able to communicate due to not speaking very much English. They tried to use a translator application, and she denied any sexual acts being performed, the report said.
Liu was not asked any further questions about the incident. She was ultimately turned over to the Eustis Police Department, the report said.
Additionally, a criminal history check showed Liu had two prior arrests for prostitution. One of the charges was from Marion County in 2023 with a disposition of adjudication withheld. The other charge was from California in 2022 with no disposition noted, the report said.
Liu was charged with solicitation of prostitution and transported to Lake County Jai. The native of China was released after posting $1,000 bond.
