Need a recommendation for LEGIT female masseuse

My last good legit masseuse who worked at the University clinic had moved on. I see him (yes it is a he) strictly for legit deep tissue work and my insurance pays the clinic directly. It has never been convenient to see him, parking is a pain, booking is a pain, but he is really good and came highly recommended by my doctor. Last visit, the clinic tried to stick me with some new person, no effort whatsoever.

After that, I tried a clinic downtown and another near Kingsway and another in St. Albert, all fall into that no effort whatsoever category. One downtown lady put a hockey ball under me and told me to lie on it for a while to release a knot; then she put her fists below my neck and gave me the bizarre knuckle sandwich massage. The St. Albert lady covered me with a hot towel and a hot pack for 5-10 min., then started a machine on my back and proceed to leave for another 15 min.

I would like to find a female who works closer to the northside for good deep tissue work, probably every two weeks. Must be able to work with my pain-in-the-butt insurance company. For several reasons, I prefer to use an establishment which is 100% legit.

So my wish list:
- female
- northside
- strictly legit establishment
- can deal with insurance companies

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated, PM is okay too.

I can't think of any one person in particular off the top of my head but may I suggest you try looking up chiropractors and physiotherapists. I know a chiropractor who had an acupuncturist and a massage therapist working out of his office and some physio places have their own massage therapists.
The one name I keep coming up with is not North and that is River Valley Health in College Plaza.

I have found the two best in Leah at Le Spa and Mei at Best Balance you will love them both.Sorry both these are basically south side

Thanks guys, I will give all of them a try, nothing really to lose since insurance is paying for it and my new "year" starts in 21 days. Le Spa would be way out there for me but the River Valley would be right close to where I used to go. I do believe I have visited Mei at Best Balance before, a long time ago.

A quick knowledge check for myself, Le Spa is where Melissa of Sole is from, right... I know I have seen some up north from Le Spa originally, just couldnt remember exactly who.

thank you for your courteous but incorrect remarks, however i suggest that you are being unfair to nicole in suggesting that it is she who is authoring her own reviews and responses...i am Not nicole rather i am a male person whose first name is in fact michael...mike if you wish...i have responded to many questions, pm enquiries and alerts on this system and have tried to honestly provide what info i have on the ladies that i have seen...such as ms v , jane, trinity, medical massage e.g....i am sorry if you do not agree with my reviews of nicole , but that is just how i feel about her...clearly i prefer asian ladies and perhaps i favour them more than i should , but again that is just my views of my experiences and my wish in wanting to participate and contribute to a forum that has served me very well in meeting asian massage practitioners...i hope you understand...mg
