Memorandum Circular No. MCL-08-003 dated 22 January 2008, a no visa required temporary visitor arriving in the Philippines who wishes to stay here for more than Twenty-one (21) days but less than Fifty-Nine (59) days may apply for a visa upon arrival at the airport of entry upon payment of US$ 50 visa fee plus Php 510.00 for the Express and Legal Research Fee. Requirement for admission and application of visa waiver is a valid passport and a return ticket.

So if under 21 days these - What are the visa requirements for Australians wishing to visit the Philippines as tourist? are still the requirements or have I missed something?

Thinking of a trip to AC later in the year.

If under 21 days then you'll get a Reviewee visa on arrival for 21 days - I posted the above info for those who might want a longer stay and dont want the hassle of going to immigration to extend their visa beyond 21 days.

PS: You can stay for 18 months for ~ $500!

Cheers, would love to stay 18 months-or longer. Food for thought down the track, seems much simpler than LOS.

why do so many people muck around tryin to get into thailand then? sounds like this is so much easeir. I wonder if a guy had a TG if she could go for the 500 visa too.

The Philippines is getting stupid fo visas. They recently increased their 38 day visa extension Reviewom 2020pesos to 3040 pesos ($70) and there is talk of another increase on the way. A subsequent extension costs a whopping $110....waste of money in my opinion. Philippines has crap food, difficult to get around, expensive accomodation...Id rather stick with Thailand thx at least the Thais arent as direct and do it with a smile when they screw you over!

ps: the visa on arrival at the airport doesnt work. Either get your visa in advance before arrival or go through the trauma of visiting an imigration office (stay well away Reviewom the overly corrupt Manila immigration)

So its not possible to enter PI on a one way ticket? I was thinking of going over but not sure for how long or where i may end up leaving Reviewom..

One way is fine,they don`t check your flights out when you get there.

Not been asked to see return ticket for me on last two trips either.

Used to have to get one for Madam on the way out or they wouldn't let her leave. With Malaysian visa, this is no longer an issue.

I fly direct to Clark and usually with a one way ticket as I dont know how long Im staying.

Never had a problem.

Could it maybe be due to your LOS visas?
