Review SENSA SPA -- first impressions on this new spa

For the shy to visit and for the curious, here is a quick tour and review of Sensa Spa located at 25 Kelfield Street, Etobicoke.

The black exterior rectangular exterior has no warning of what to expect inside. I walked into the building, through big metal doors into the lobby. What I saw blew me away! On my left side was a full height, 100-foot-long curved wall of small mosaic tiles with a floral garden scene. The floor had these large black ceramic tiles with brass and copper inserts.

The reception area was mammoth; it’s as big as a hotel lobby! The walls had burled wood paneling and the reception desk also had a snake design ceramic. In the middle of the reception was an impressive 15-foot-tall snake crystal chandelier. Around the corner was a more private isolated customer waiting area with comfortable armchairs and a TV.

The first room I went into was, one of the two, VIP Jacuzzi hot tub rooms. It was big. Everything was spacious! The whole building has to be about 10,000 square feet and there only 11 rooms. With the exception of the jacuzzi, the other treatment rooms are similar. About 400 square feet of sound, temperature and lighting controlled space creating the perfect environment for sessions.

There were 4 mirrors reflecting back the activity that happens on the massive oversized massage tables, a firm armchair, bus stop sized showers with overhead rainfall shower heads, for two to wash up at the same time, and an enclosed clothes wardrobe.

I felt like I was in the lap of luxury in an exotic 5-star hotel. This was just the facility I can’t wait to write my first encounter there. I suggest to go see for your selves.

I will eventually check it out. After seeing what Tiana did with Perla and Pure it is no surprise Sensa would be over the top Gorgeous.

It's touches like these that would make the place worth the trip. The facilities are just as important as the MPAs. Makes for a better experience surrounded by luxury like that. I get claustrophobic in those tiny rooms of the smaller places.

The place is beautiful … beautiful t it’s ladies and service that make a great spa…but u won’t find anything more high end than this

But you got to see the similarities in layout and design to pure right ( granted limited moving parts) but design wise strikes me the same ( which is a complement).

I like the size of the massage "tables". Enough space on there for duos.

TBH looks like they overdid it...maybe even overcompensating. I liked Perla but was not a fan of Pure. Looks like Sensa is continuing the trend of Pure. Judging from all the negative comments here about service and MPA choice, lipstick on a pig seems appropriate.
