The Tierra Luna Spa & Sol Garden at the Arizona Biltmore, a two-time Forbes 4-star Spa Award-winning, state-of-the-art wellness retreat, recently announced an expansion to its menu with 27 new treatments based on Tierra Luna’s intentions of grounding and strengthening, celestial restoration, recovery and relief. The spa offers a customizable experience for each guest while incorporating an elevated desert design.
“Tierra Luna is a world within a world where we view wellness as a continual journey,” Ann Patton, Arizona Biltmore Spa Director, said. “No matter if it is a guest’s first or hundredth time, they will never experience the same treatment twice.”

Spa attendants start treatment by asking about the client’s life and any excitement or struggles they are currently facing. By setting intentions for their visit, attendants make every experience unique.
“Based on this personalized assessment, we hand select their custom scents, healing crystals and locally sourced ingredients to tailor their treatment and meet their wellness goals,” Patton said.
Spa-goers can expect an homage to the natural desert landscape surrounding the Biltmore through the use of red mud and clay, locally sourced sage and agave, and native scents during massage and body experiences, skin care experiences, soaking and cosmic experiences, and more.
Tierra Luna takes clients on a journey using chakra oils and crystals. An on-site astrologist will blend “readings and cosmic forces into personal revelations via treatments” like its Astrology Reading and Chakra Sound Massage. In its Grounding Quartz Massage, the spa attendant uses warm, spherical quartz to gently meld into the body contours, using the quartz’s restorative energy to facilitate a Swedish massage.
“As the name suggests, the earth, moon, and stars connect here at Tierra Luna. This, combined with the healing energy of the surrounding Sonoran Desert, makes our spa a unique place for rejuvenation,” Michelle Dunn, Assistant Director of Spa and Wellness, said. “With our Alchemy Blend Bar and Crystal Immersion treatment, the guest becomes the alchemist.”
Treatments include Signature Massages, Signature Body Treatments, Tierra Luna Dream Table Experiences, Soaking Experiences, Spa Journeys, Couples Curations, facials, skincare, manicures, pedicures, Fitness Focus, Workout Recovery, and Sol Garden Grounding Experiences.
In Tierra Luna’s signature Dream Table experience, high touch meets high tech, providing a multi-sensory experience using light therapy, heat therapy, and quartz or water surfaces. The stone allows physical, mental, and emotional healing while the heat of the table relaxes the body to prepare for the Swedish massage and any following treatments.
Sol Garden at the Arizona Biltmore provides an outdoor space for guests to reconnect with Earth amidst the desert mountains. The Sol Garden offers Halotherapy, or salt therapy treatment, at the only outdoor, freestanding salt chamber in the U.S.
