Not according to what the guy who jabbed me said. They have lots of AZ. In fact, he said that until the age was lowered to 40 this week, they could not fill the appointments. He also said that they are throwing doses away. Each vial contains 10 doses and once opened it must be used within 2 days or it's garbage.
I did some asking today and the pharmacy assured me that as long as the government allows them to, they will be calling people back for their second dose BEFORE the scheduled time of four months. That's good, because if it's a choice between giving people their second dose or wasting the vaccine, better to get it into arms.
On another point....I had zero reaction...which from what I understand is not necessarily a good thing. You should expect at least a mild headache or other flu like symptoms as proof your body is reacting to the vaccine and hopefully will generate antibodies. It's a good idea to do the antibody test before the second dose, because if you get a negative result, there's no sense in getting the second dose.
