The reason being was they do not have enough supply of vaccines for every one at this moment and they want to make sure the majority of the population get their first shot as many as they can with the vaccines they have in hand.

Not according to what the guy who jabbed me said. They have lots of AZ. In fact, he said that until the age was lowered to 40 this week, they could not fill the appointments. He also said that they are throwing doses away. Each vial contains 10 doses and once opened it must be used within 2 days or it's garbage.

I did some asking today and the pharmacy assured me that as long as the government allows them to, they will be calling people back for their second dose BEFORE the scheduled time of four months. That's good, because if it's a choice between giving people their second dose or wasting the vaccine, better to get it into arms.

On another point....I had zero reaction...which from what I understand is not necessarily a good thing. You should expect at least a mild headache or other flu like symptoms as proof your body is reacting to the vaccine and hopefully will generate antibodies. It's a good idea to do the antibody test before the second dose, because if you get a negative result, there's no sense in getting the second dose.

I got both within 30 days. Essential worker and all that jazz. A firefighter friend of mine told me they might have to wait up to 4 months for the second shot. That's bogus.

Vaccination companies keep trying to tell governments 4 months it too long. But, they won't listen. Just look at Uncle Dougie. Won't listen to the people who know and blows them off. Pfizer said 30 days and they delivered.

I got my pfizer this afternoon. I don't feel anything, no pain, no side effects, nothing. I even have a hard time checking where the needle was poked.
One mpa got her pfizer yesterday and she told me she felt nausea, headache, dizzy and muscle pain within a few minutes and then diarrhea later. She even warned me not to go alone. She still couldn't lift her arm yet. I guess everyone is different.

She can just open her legs and mouth. No problem.

That is correct,. I got the vaccine the same day that my neighbor ,I don't have any side effects but she after two weeks she

Yup. My printed date on receipt is 4 months from 1st Pfizer shot.

whoever takes advice of any sort from him is not worth saving from COVID so I look at it as natural selection.

Got my AZ vaccine mid-march and have lived this long since. I'm hoping there are a shit load of vaccine deniers in Toronto so I can get my second shot way before the 4 months that health canada has made up as being appropriate.

So I got my AZ shot. No issues. Good to know that in 14 days or so I can count on pretty good protection against the virus and very high protection against serious infection.

what exactly are the numbers on this one shot protection. I have never seen AZ numbers. I've seen Pfizer numbers but never AZ. I don't even know if that time period has ever been tested. Health Canada made this up so they could give everyone one shot before giving out the second, but never informed us about the numbers on protection.
