Also, if you are really serious about it, you need to visit these spas as a customer (and not just once or twice either). This is the best market research you can do...

Yes , you are right , i should be visiting more MPA's and figure out by talking to them but the problem is that I m not good at face2face small talk either, that's why posting on this board seemed like a better alternative.

May be we should start a thread "buy and sell spa". Interested parties, either a buyer or seller can post information.
From what I have seen a successful spa, like E & M, Just Relax....., they all have a dedicated owner on site running the business, at least in the initial stage for a few years. Some owners of a small spa, pretty much just get a "salary" by working, but are happy. In a not too busy spa, usually the income from other girls would cover the fix cost, like rent and whatever the owner makes would be pure profit, so owners of a not so busy spa is fine if the owner works. Some spa owners have solicited to sell their spa to me long time ago, but for me, I am not fit to work in a spa at all, therefore I have never been interested.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. A marketplace on this forum for those interested in buying or selling MP.

1. Nah, ML= 'not necessary' ...MP biz=legit c ash+secret$$$....Mix in money from 'other sources' (drug $$$, etc) & make it appear legit...
Banks are constrained by Anti-Money Laundering legislation, MP vulnerable to ML, so they don't want u as client.
2. Mafia buys restaurants, too,... fake clients, real money, mix it in, voila
3. Tiny spas make $$$...but not like shitloads. 794 doesn't need protection, no $1K cash lying around. Taboo & Flirt make serious $$$...for shur they protect it... expect they use safes,

I think (but don't know 100%) that the $35K buys you the business and the existing licence. I can't see why the owner would take anything from the inside like the massage tables. Other than that the Unit lease terms would have to be negotiated with the landlord. This place is semi legit and have their regulars who frequent.

What about the MPA's ? Would they have stayed?

That’s between the town and the registered business. Nontransferable.

So as per my understanding, the 35k was for location (existing patronage). But from what I have read , the patronage is towards the girls not to the establishment therefore girls staying behind with new owner is important. Atleast for couple of months and if they don't like new management then they can always leave. I would gladly pay $35k as CAPEX if the existing patronage covers the OPEX.

She worked for a while in a spa and got to know the girls in the spa. She of course easy to find out who was a good MPA and she got friendly with those good ones. She then started a brand new spa in a convenient location , with good set up, a shower in each room; she with little efforts had all her friends moved over to work for her. Needless to say, clients followed all those good MPA and her spa became a busy operation almost on day one. In short, good facilities, convenience location + good girls = sure win!!!

SP agency like hot pink list etc ? How do I start that? My apologies if I sound like a novice but I m just trying to gain some knowledge here.

I'm no expert, but heck many indie girls start out with a hotel room and an ad and some protection. They soon graduate to outcalls with a driver/protection. I don't know much, but from what I can infer from my observations, an agency starts with a condo room and a few girls and some protection. Supply basic amenities like mouthwash and condoms and towels and stuff and just keep building from there. Lower initial cost vs a spa, but far more riskier. Run it like a business a not your personal play thing and you should do alright. A low profile agency I used to use in the past was nothing more than a single condo with 2 rooms and as many as 5 girls recruited from various places like Seekingarrangements. One of the best looking SPs I've ever been with was with that agency. It's long gone now, so don't bother asking.

Yeah the irony is hilarious. But the other things running thru my head that makes me hesitant to go to a AMP these days is the unknown and the known. The unknown used to make me curious and make me want to go, but these days, money is tighter and I'm not that curious anymore. The known is that no matter what I find behind that door, I know that I can get the same or better with an Asian SP, or pay more and get a white MPA. Besides, the experience at an Asian SP agency has more pampering. That SF2 and bbbj in the shower is a lot of fun.

Im not interested in opening up any business in this industry but am curious about the inner workings of these spas, what you said there makes me curious about what protection your talking about... is it still like the old days/movies where hired thugs are parked in the parking lot as guard dogs?
please share what you know about how this all works, what is this "protection"? what do they do? where do they come from? how does it work?

Don't listen to that idiot. He knows nothing about Asian spas. He 's watching too much movies. I have been dealing with so many Asian spas and have managed quite a few . There never was a hint of any organized gangs or protection fees.

yes i really want to know and you are the perfect person to ask this, the girls who work at these asian holistic places like Elite for example, are these asian girls forced to work at these spas being imported from china? or are these girls all free and chose to come here by themselves? are they giving protection money to anyone? if they are paying for protection who offers these protection services? im very curious how this all works! how do these girls even get here and how do they go back? do they have to give a cut of their earned money to anyone else?
