The response will target the Red states so yes, bourbon and whiskey from Kentucky and Tennessee will likely be targeted. Wines mainly come from California and that is a Blue state so likely not in round 1. Most American beer is watered down aka piss water anyway.

The stupid thing about Trump is that he said he doesn’t need our oil but that tariff will only be 10% and not 25%. Hope Canada puts an export tariff on the oil.

We’re almost 17 hours into Feb 1st and the tariffs are still not in place.

Trump only won the election based on the high costs and the promise to get inflation down immediately. This idiot is going to raise prices in the US and many Americans in Red Staes are going to lose their jobs. Mexico will retaliate and so will China. China also holds a lot of US Debt (over $750B) and they can just say “pay up”. His support is going to fall. Maybe not amongst his idiot base but all the other Americans will turn on him. There is another election in 2 years for the House and he’s going to lose control in 2 years because of this.

Their dollar is worth 45% more than ours. They will not feel a 25% tariff.
